About Us

The DAAD Information Centre in Rome was founded in 2004. The DAAD’s presence in Italy also comprises 8 Lektors and 5 German language assistants. Our mission is to promote individual and institutional academic exchange with Germany; we provide interested parties with information on Germany as a location for study and research and advise them on DAAD scholarships.

The DAAD Information Centre in Rome provides information and individual advice on the German higher education system and the various DAAD study and research scholarships.

In addition to the DAAD Information Centre, the DAAD’s presence in Italy also comprises 9 Lektors and 6 German language assistants who teach at the German Studies departments of numerous Italian universities.
